Use “Love Blind Language – ask, pad, guide, notify” to give blind people accurate, safe and timely assistance.

1. Ask

‧Ask the blind person if he/she needs assistance?

2. Pad

‧When a blind person requires assistance, using your back of a hand to pad the blind person’s, and put the person’s hand into your elbow to accept your guidance.

3. Guide

‧At guiding a blind person, please keep a distance of half to one step ahead so that the blind person is behind you on the right.

4. Notify

‧During the guidance, notify the blind person the change of road status timely, such as levels, holes, barriers and such, and talk to the person how to pass through safely.
